The Homematic IP weather sensor basic is more than just a weather monitor. As part of your smart home, it reliably and precisely measures values such as the outdoor temperature, humidity, wind speed, brightness and sunshine duration. You can view the current data at any time via the free Homematic IP app. But that's not all. The weather sensor opens up a wide range of possibilities for you to react to changes in the weather and trigger scenarios in your home. Just imagine: Your windows close automatically in strong winds to prevent possible damage. Thanks to the weather sensor and smart window control, this is possible without any problems.

The installation of the weather sensor is just as simple as its use: Thanks to the power supply with batteries, the installation is uncomplicated. You can simply attach the weather sensor to the desired location. The mounting material as well as a robust 1.6 metre long stainless steel pole are already included in the scope of delivery.
